I cannot WAIT for this election to be over. Every day, I receive forwarded emails from Christians that contain slander and gossip about Obama. Sometimes, I click on links contained or actually READ and check the "facts" contained in these emails and I'm amazed that this garbage is actually being PASSED AROUND by Christians through the church...and all "in the name of Jesus."
Jesus did not waste even one moment of his time discussing the politics of His day. He fed the poor and invited the "sinners" over for dinner so He could build relationships with them.
I challenge all Christians to at least READ and verify the facts in the political emails you forward to your Christian email ring.

Maybe it's just me but didn't he (Jesus) say when asked that "I am no part of this world"....
Kind of makes me wonder just how much they actually know or read as they try to involve religion into politics.

Amen, Sister Christy!!! :) I felt like the emails I was getting from my Christian Friends were so much more toxic than anything that the "Liberals" were sending. Division is not from God, and that's what I wanted to reply to those emails. But if you can't say something nice, don't say anything, so I just deleted them.

I agree that those emails should not be circulated in the name of Jesus,but I don't want christians to be ignorant either.The truth is,that Obama is playing a huge role in the end times prophecies and he demise of the US.Obama is turning his back on Israel and leading this country down the road of a one world currency.For the first time in my 37 years,I am afraid of my gov't.
Yes, Mr Anonymous - I understand about education. However, the emails that were circulating were far from education. They were SLANDER. Jesus would have no part of such a thing - nor did He pay ANY attention to His corrupt government while he walked here. Instead, he fed the poor.
