Today I've been given a 90 day challenge. I've put a COMPLAINT FREE BRACELET on my wrist and every time I complain, criticize or gossip I have to switch wrists. The idea is to go 90 days without switching the bracelet. I've been wearing it for approximately 1.5 hours and have already switched it probably close to 100 times (good thing i don't have an EXAGGERATION/SARCASM bracelet on huh)
This should be an interesting 90 *cough* days because I'm attempting this with my equally mouthy teenage daughter. *grin* I'll keep you updated on our success and hopefully it will allow me to control my mouth (no comments from all of you), which will allow me to control my thought process and ultimately my life.
All you online friends feel free to bring it to my attention when i need to switch wrists.
*UPDATE* this is really going to affect my stunning personality.

I was thrown out of Argus tattoo parlor
Yep. You read that right. I can now say I've been kicked out of a tattoo parlor on my ear.
I took my daughter to Argus Tattoo in Hilliard Ohio today to get her nose pierced for her 15th birthday. We walked into the joint where we were "greeted" by a meanie butt. You know what I mean - someone who is obviously not a happy kinda person.
I told him we wanted to get Hannah's nose pierced and he handed us some paperwork to fill out. I attempt to do what I've always done to help meanie butts smile and use a bit of some good wit and humor.
The meanie butt had the words GAME OVER tattooed on his fingers. As we were filling out the paperwork, I said....
"Please tell me you at least got the high score before the game was over."
Instead of smiling, meanie butt glared at me. He takes my drivers license and Hannah's birth certificate back to copy and came back a few moments later to announce he was not going to pierce her.
I asked why and he says, "I don't like your condescending attitude. You need to leave my store."
I was stunned. With all this said, I told meanie butt from Argus Tattoo in Hilliard Ohio that I would be sure to tell all my friends how I was treated in this tattoo parlor. He said that was fine. So...here's the question.....
Is it fair for a WEB MARKETER to tell all her friends how poorly she was treated at Argus Tattoo in Hilliard Ohio? What do you think?
Regardless, when all was said and done I was glad that someone that has obvious anger issues didn't come near my child with a needle AND we found a great tattoo parlor who pierced her nose. THE COLUMBUS TATTOO COMPANY did a fabulous job and even welcomed my sense of humor. In my opinion, if you live in Hilliard Ohio and want a tattoo or piercing, TAKE THE DRIVE to The Columbus Tattoo Company and tell them Christy sent you. *wink*
Oh and if you happen to see the dude from Argus Tattoo, tell him he didn't get the high score. *grin*
