Things that make me happy...

I'm trying to focus on things that make me happy this week and decided to make a "reminder" list.

1. Clean sheets fresh out of the dryer
2. Coffee
3. Pedicures
4. Sitting out on a patio in the spring time with friends
5. Praise and worship music
6. Laying by the beach (which I WILL do very soon)
7. Bubble baths
8. Sunday afternoon naps
9. An immaculate house
10. My down feather comforter

Spring.

Today was an absolutely beautiful day.

My perennials are peeking above the ground now and the smell of that spring air makes everything seem better. I can't wait to get busy planting more flowers and possibly even a garden this year. There's something about yard work - seeing all that hard work pay off in such indescribable beauty. It truly is rewarding.

I guess that's the way all beautiful things come to be - hard work. I'm looking forward to a spring and summer of breathtaking beauty.
